Welcome to the Blade Hunter Competition! Are you ready to showcase your skills in a thrilling aggressive inline competition? Join us for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and fierce competition. Event Details: Date: May 3rd, 2025Time: 12pm- 5pmLocation: 12351 Kuykendahl Rd, Houston, TX 77067Event Format: You must sign the liability waiver to compete! Blade Hunter Liability Waiver 6 Bladers compete in 35sec timed runs (2 runs per competitor). The best run counts as your best score!After the heat is concluded, the judges will choose two bladers to advance from the heat. The first Blader will be the Heat winner, the second will be a Wild card.The Wild card riders will battle it out in another heat to gain the chance of advancing.Tie- Breakers will be decided with a sudden death 2min Jam style heat between the competitors who tied.The wild card heat will be a 5-minute Jam-style heat. The winner of the wild card advances to the Finals.The finals will be a 6-8min Jam style competition.All competitors and Bladers will be required to wear helmets while skating. NO EXCEPTIONS!We implore all competitors to KNOW THEIR LIMITS! We want everyone to have a great time and stay safe. Watch out for each other while you skate!This is a B.Y.O.C event (BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR). It starts to get hot in May, please stay hydrated. North Houston Skate Park will be providing water while supplies last. There will be no alcoholic beverages or smoking allowed on the premises. There will be a designated cigarette smoking area. Failure to abide by these rules will result in expulsion from the event and premises. Pets will not be allowed in the park. Service animals will be permitted. Prizes! We will be giving out prizes to the following categories: Amateurs (Under 16 years)= 1st place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place Amateurs (Over 16 years)= 1st place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place Best Trick: Whoever throws the craziest stunt or trick during the competition gets this prize. Most Resilient Award: This will go out to the Blader who demonstrates grit and determination. There will be some cool sur-prizes (Wink wink) on the day of the event! There will be parking available at the park. We recommend you come early and secure a good spot! Carpooling will be encouraged. Parking spaces will be limited.
