The Black Women's Affinity Group proudly presents the 3rd Annual Dzigbodi Akyea Art Exhibit: Restoring The Black Woman. This exceptional exhibition showcases the creative work of multiple talented artists, each shedding light on the diverse experiences of Black women through various mediums and perspectives. Celebrating our individuality and embracing the power of expression, we invite the community, students, staff, and faculty to join us at the gallery opening reception on Thursday, February 1st, from 5:30-8:30pm at Truax. This remarkable art exhibit will be available for viewing until February 29th. For any inquiries regarding this event and exhibit, please reach out to BWAG@madisoncollege.edu. 

The Art Gallery, located on the mezzanine in the entrance area of the Truax Building, Room A1005, at 1701 Wright Street, Madison, WI, will be open during the following hours: Monday (9am - 6pm), Tuesday (9am - 11am & 2:30pm - 6pm), Wednesday (9am - 5pm), Thursday (9am - 6pm), Friday (11am - 3pm), and Saturday on February 3rd, 10th, and 17th (10am - 2pm).
