Named after the city's proud association with bees, this ballroom extravaganza is set to take place at the stunning Fairfield Social Club on Irk Street, Manchester, M4 4JT, on June 15, 2024. Established in 2022 by Sacha Louboutin, the Manchester Ballroom Community has now handed over the reins to Smily Juicy Couture, along with support from Bamz 007, Romeo 007, Day 007, and Katana 007. The evening promises a showcase of performances and an abundance of entertainment.

For those new to ballroom culture, some ground rules have been set to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment. The event will feature categories such as Male Figure (MF), Female Figure (FF), Butch Queens (BQ), and Legends, Stars, and Statements (LSS), reflecting the diversity and creativity of the ballroom scene. Realness as a couple will also be highlighted, emphasizing the art of presenting as a cis-het couple. Participants are reminded that ballroom is a space created by and for marginalized communities, and any form of discrimination or hate will not be tolerated. Tickets for this unforgettable night range from £9.38 to £22.38.
