Symposium Overview
The 2025 Symposium will be at the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park in Melodeon Hall.
Registration will begin at Noon on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, with the event starting at 1:00 pm.
Presentations on 
Wednesday
 will feature speakers discussing topics related to recent legislative changes and the fundamentals of water resources. The Poster Session and Awards Banquet will be held in Melodeon Hall on Wednesday evening. Additional tickets for the banquet can be purchased on Eventbrite for $35.
Presentations will continue through 
Thursday
, June 26. Breakfast and lunch buffets will be served in Melodeon Hall. Thursday night dinner will be on your own with several options in nearby Nashville, Indiana.
Friday
, June 27, following a breakfast buffet, will feature an introduction to the field trip to Strahl and Ogle dams within Brown County State Park. The Symposium will conclude by noon for ample travel time home.

Symposium Registration Fees (early registration ends MAY 28)
All non-student presenters are expected to pay the symposium registration fee. If your employing organization cannot or will not pay the registration fee, please contact the IWRA president (glindner@dnr.IN.gov) and we’ll try to work something out. 
The IWRA member early full-meeting early registration fee is $190 (
through May 28
) and includes four meals.
 Students are eligible for a reduced registration fee. Student presenters will have their registration fees paid by IWRA. Non-member and late meeting registrations (May 29 - June 25) incur higher fees.
Lodging Information
Block Rate pricing is available now at the Abe Martin Lodge - Brown County State Park, Nashville, IN, through 
midnight May 31, 2025
. A rate of $107 + tax/night has been reserved for the IWRA symposium under group code 
0625IW
 for June 25 and 26. Reservations made be made through the 
booking link for the Abe Martin Lodge
. If you cannot apply the group code on that site, please call 1-812-988-4418 and provide the code to the booking representative. Cancellations may be made up to 2 weeks prior to the reservation date.
Award nominations
Please submit a nomination for the IWRA Charles Harold Bechert Award and/or the IWRA Outstanding Achievement Awards for presentation at the 2025 symposium. Please see
