Stockton-on-Tees Events in February, 2024

The TeesDance February Practitioner Class in Stockton-on-Tees is an exciting opportunity for dance practitioners in the Tees Valley to come together for a monthly class and socialize. Led by the experienced Patricia, who is not only a familiar name and face at TeesDance but also a talented Movement Director with a diverse movement background, this class promises to be both invigorating and fun. 

The class will begin with a rejuvenating warm-up to help participants shake off the day and find ease in movement. From there, the focus will shift to a playful exploration of our relationship with space through improvisations, imagery, flowing on the floor, and even an Elizabethan dance. This class welcomes dancers of all abilities and experiences, making it the perfect opportunity for those who haven't danced in a while to reignite their passion for dance. It is also ideal for dance teachers who want to move for their own enjoyment. 

Please note that while the class is open to all, the program for Dance Practitioners is subsidized and therefore participants need to meet specific criteria. These include being over 18 years old, no longer studying within a formal education context, and holding a completed qualification in creative arts at Level 5 or higher. Additionally, participants must be based in or from the North East region. Spaces for professional activities are limited and priority will be given to those pursuing a career in dance.
