Teen Coding Club: Build Games & Brainpower

teens 
ages 13-18
 will learn to code their own games, animations, and interactive stories using Microsoft MakeCode—a user-friendly, block-based coding app. Each session includes collaborative challenges and self-paced projects designed to boost executive functioning, planning, and visual reasoning.
No prior coding experience required—just bring your curiosity 
and your own device 
(Windows or Mac laptop or tablet)! This group builds digital confidence, focus, and creativity through hands-on coding in a supportive setting 
led by an occupational therapist
. Each session takes place in the Great Space, providing a comfortable and collaborative environment for learning and creativity.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to drop off participants for this group, as it is designed to support independent engagement and peer interaction.
Multiple sessions are available
 to suit your schedule—join one, a few, or all!

Friday Aug 15, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
RELEASE FORM REQUIRED:
 Before attending, a completed release form is required for both you and the child participating. After checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to the required waivers and policies. Please be sure to complete a form for each participant prior to your visit.
