We invite you to join us at Tramway for a presentation with Project Director Wajid Yaseen & Co-ordinator Syma Ahmed. The event is free to attend. Food and drinks will be provided.  Tape Letters Scotland is a social history project that highlights the practice within the Scottish-Pakistani community of recording and sending voice messages on cassette tape between the 1960s-1980s. The exhibition platforms the stories uncovered from cassette tapes and interviews from Edinburgh’s Pakistani community. He is an interdisciplinary artist and Artistic Director of the sonic arts organisation Modus Arts. Syma Ahmedis the Project Coordinator of Tape Letters Scotland. She is a Development Officer at Glasgow Women’s Library and co-author of ‘She Settles in the Shields: Untold stories of migrant women in Pollokshields’.

Tramway is a great place. There are street artists performing at the door. It&#39;s interesting to wear local costumes. There is also a theater where you can watch performances and small shops where you can buy snacks or souvenirs. The overall atmosphere is very commercial.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

It is a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, there were almost no people on the road, only the old buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which was awe-inspiring.

It is the oldest religious building in the entire Scottish region. It is also a must-see for tourists.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
