Artback NT Touring Presents SUB By GUTS DANCE X ASHLEIGH MUSK SUB, a bold and experimental contemporary dance performance that plunges audiences into the very heart of the earth. Premiering at the Araluen Arts Centre, Mparntwe, on May 23, 2025, SUB offers an intense, multi-sensory journey beneath the surface, where the human body interacts with the raw forces of nature and industry. SUB explores humanity’s complex relationship with the earth in a time of ecological crisis. As our surface world bears the weight of environmental and societal challenges, we descend into soil and stone—seeking shelter and survival. This performance combines body, sound, objects, and lighting to create a visceral world where pressure builds, the earth shifts, and its inhabitants navigate an underground realm full of both terror and beauty. Choreographed by Ashleigh Musk, SUB reveals the stark contrasts of life beneath the earth’s surface—wet versus dry, hot versus cold, soft versus strong. Joined by dancers Frankie Snowden, Madeleine Krenek, and Jennie Large, Musk takes audiences on a journey of endurance, resilience, and quiet defiance. At the front desk of the hotel, I consulted which cruise ship is good on the Great Barrier Reef and recommended REF MAGIC. So I reported a day trip to Trip.com , and the price and on-site ticket purchase are basically not bad. I boarded the boat early in the morning and went to sea. The weather was sunny and the wind and waves were not big. There was no sign of seasickness on the Raiders, but I still listened to the suggestion of a little girl from Beijing and took two free seasickness pills at the front desk. (ps, there are also paid, 3 knives a grain). After nearly two hours of voyage, we arrived at REEF MAGIC pontoon (sea platform) at Moore Reef. On the platform, you can dive deep, snorkel, semi-submarine and glass bottom boat to see marine life, the most worthwhile is to take a helicopter to watch the Great Barrier Reef, it is really beautiful, difficult to describe in words, and it is a unique scenery here, difficult to see elsewhere. Snorkeling here is still a bit challenging for me, a man who is basically a dry duck. Snorkeling here is completely different from snorkeling on Saipan. The seaside water in Saipan is only one meter deep, and there is basically no bottom here. Although wearing a life jacket, it still gives people the feeling of not falling and dare not swim far. ps, reported helicopter tour, must register as soon as possible, so that can arrange a more advanced time, easy to arrange other activities on the platform. We went to register at 8:30, arranged the plane at 12:20, and the meal time conflicted, and the schedule of other activities overlapped, the time was very tight, and it didn&#39;t feel very good.

The Great Barrier Reef is divided into the Inner Barrier Reef and the Outer Barrier Reef. The difference is that the Inner Barrier Reef is closer to Cairns. There are many people but the coral and sea scenery are far less than the Outer Barrier Reef. The Outer Barrier Reef is far away from Cairns. The Moore Reef is the closest to Cairns.
