Studio Improv L1 (All levels) is an exciting and inclusive improvised acting workshop held in Exeter. This fun and friendly workshop is suitable for everyone, regardless of their level of experience. Participants will have the opportunity to learn valuable improvisation techniques while having a great time and honing their performance skills. Imagination will be stimulated through various topics, such as the use of "Yes and" techniques, clowning techniques for everyday situations, comedic short-form games, the creation of unique and entertaining characters, and the importance of working collaboratively with scene partners. 

Not only does this workshop provide a solid foundation for those interested in further exploring and pursuing improv, but it also offers practical skills that can be applied in various aspects of life, such as public speaking, listening, teamwork, and social skills. Complete beginners are more than welcome to join, as no prior drama, acting, comedy, or improv experience is necessary. Cleverness, quickness, and a humorous disposition are also not prerequisites for participation. 

Led by the experienced performance teachers of CCSW, including James Cotter, Josephine Larsen, Cathy Towers, and guest teacher Geoff Monk, Studio Improv L1 promises to be a rewarding and enriching experience.
