Join the celebration of the 2nd anniversary of Storytelling Open Mic in Charlotte! This event, held at the Common Market Oakwold, invites all to come and listen to true, beautiful, and good stories. Similar to the renowned storytelling shows like The Moth or Risk!, adults have the opportunity to share their own real-life stories in a comfortable and relaxed environment. The event will take place on Saturday, November 25th, from 7pm to 9pm, offering an enjoyable evening following Thanksgiving.

Storytellers will be chosen both in advance and on the spot. A few individuals have already been selected to share their stories, but if you're interested, you can add your name to the hat for a chance to be chosen as well. Prepare a 3-5 minute story about an experience from your own life. It can be silly, fun, simple, beautiful, recent, or from a long time ago; the only requirement is that it's true and has a clear beginning, middle, and end. The event is free, and we kindly encourage you to support our venue partner, Common Market Oakwold.
