Stop-Motion Animation & Visual Effects Workshop (16+)  *Please note we are hosting a kids' stop-motion workshop too, so please get in touch for details or find here on Eventbrite! This workshop is an introduction to stop-motion for all abilities, during which you will create a unique animated film from start to finish.  Stop-motion, or stop-frame animation, creates the illusion of movement by stringing together a series of photographs or images. Using this technique, you can bring inanimate objects to life! And what I love the most, is incorporating these animations in to live action footage. You can animate drawings, things you have made, objects, sand, plasticine, even yourself and/or others from the group. You will have the option to shoot on greenscreen, allowing you to later add backdrops to your scene, or to incorporate your animation in to live action footage.  This course is suitable for complete beginners or anyone who already has animation experience. It will be a great opportunity to meet fellow animators/film-makers and work together as a mini-production team.  Looking forward to meeting you all! 10:00-11:15 - Examples, scripts and storyboards.  11:15-12:30 - Techniques and animation jam/experiment.  12:30-13:00 Lunch Break 13:00 - 14:45 Afternoon - Shoot films in groups of 2-3 14:45 - 15:00 Discuss sound effects and exporting/view the films if time!

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

George Square is located in the heart of Glasgow, and it is very convenient to take a train or subway. You can sunbathe in the square on a good day. Near the famous store street, you can buy hand letters, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants to choose from. George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square; at different festivals, such as Christmas, the square will be transformed into a mobile playground full of dynamic and happy atmosphere.
