Multiple JUNO Award-winning guitarist, producer, and songwriter Steve Dawson returns with longtime friend and bass player Jeremy Holmes. Steve’s unique voice on slide and lap steel guitar is front and centre, while the two musicians improvise and play off each other as they have done in their frequent work together. Steve’s original songs and instrumentals featuring fiery slide guitar playing are the focus, along with the duo's unique take on blues, Hawaiian, and ragtime music. Jeremy is an exceptional bassist and has worked with Steve for almost 20 years on numerous recording and touring projects, and the two musicians have a telepathic interplay that is unique, dynamic, and improvisational. Expect an evening of finely crafted songs, instrumentals, vintage Hawaiian music, and improvisation that weaves between blues, jazz, and outer-space!
