Workshops consist of writing exercises, lectures, stand-up comedy performance exercises and more. We also offer online writing support between classes. Taught by seasoned professionals and delivered in an interactive, encouraging environment all of our workshops culminate in a live comedy show. Scott Faulconbridge returns to Levity Comedy Club & Lounge with a new workshop to teach you how to develop new material and offer valuable insight into the working world of standup comedy. This series, geared for beginners, will help you put together a sharp and polished 5 minute stand-up comedy act in 5 weeks. He has written for CBC’s ‘ Still Standing’ and has been seen on numerous televised comedy specials including CTV’s Comedy Now, CBC’s“Comics’, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and over a dozen appearances at The Internationally Acclaimed Just For Laughs Festival. ​ In the United States he has toured colleges and headlined the legendary Las Vegas“The Riviera” comedy club. His albums “Warn the Others” and “Scottland”are heard regularly on Sirius XM along with his numerous other recorded performances. He has been seen on numerous televised specials including NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’, “Friday Night Videos” and Showtime’s “Full Frontal Comedy”.
