Concerteenies and Hallam Sinfonia are delighted to present the enchanting musical adventure, "Stan and Mabel," at the Victoria Hall in Sheffield City Centre. This delightful performance is perfect for children aged 3+ and their grown-ups, offering a captivating experience for all. Accompanied by presenter and narrator Polly Ives, and conducted by the talented Helen Harrison, this event promises to be a memorable experience.

Join the music-loving dog and cat duo, Stan and Mabel, as they embark on a quest to find their neighbor, who has been chosen to judge the prestigious Greatest Orchestra in the World Competition. This whimsical journey takes them on an extraordinary adventure, encountering a variety of animal instrumentalists along the way. With music composed by Paul Rissmann and based on the book by Jason Chapman, this musical story is brought to life through storytelling, projected illustrations, and exceptional music.

In addition to the enchanting tale of Stan and Mabel, the performance also includes captivating music by Florence Price, Strauss, and Tomlinson, providing a unique and educational introduction to the world of orchestras. With a runtime of approximately 55 minutes, this friendly and informal concert ensures that both children and adults can enjoy a delightful musical experience together.
