Join Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville for the Spring Series II: Metamorphosis: The Art of (a) Change [Daytime]. This 12-week journey will explore themes of writing, life, and personal transformation. Inspired by Anne LaMott's writing book classic, Bird By Bird: Some Instructions for Writing and Life, we will delve into the power of words and the beauty of the natural world. This series builds upon the transformation themes from our previous fall classes and celebrates our tenth year of offering writing circles in Jacksonville.

Throughout the 12 weeks, we will dive deep into LaMott's insightful instructions on writing and life. The series takes place in the vibrant setting of our latest exhibition, Metamorphosis: The Art of (a) Change, which commemorates the 10-year anniversary of Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville. Since our first class in 2014, Bird By Bird has been our guiding inspiration, and LaMott's advice remains as relevant as ever.

This series is open to anyone who identifies as a woman, and class sizes are limited to ensure safety protocols. Our executive director, Jennifer Wolfe, will facilitate the sessions. Women Writing for (a) Change® was founded in 1991 with a mission to empower women to find their voices and share their stories. The Jacksonville-affiliated school, established in 2014, has since become a non-profit organization and expanded its faculty to better serve a diverse audience.
