Make a date with Love Speed Dating in the heart of Birmingham, joining like-minded singles ages 30's & 40's (age approximate) all looking to find the same thing as you..... a potential love partner. The events are held at a beautiful, cosy cocktail bar Be At One in the centre of Birmingham opposite New Street Train Station Grand Central. Love Speed Dating have exclusive use of the back bar and the venue is very private and romantic with low lighting, candles and gentle music to help set the mood.
A professional, welcoming hostess will put you at your ease and explain how the evening will run. Then the ladies get settled into their seats before the gents join them and the dating commences.
Each participant has 5 minutes with each date - up to 15 males/females.
 After 5 minutes of chatting to your date, the bell will sound and the men move around to the next table while the ladies remain seated and at the end of the evening, you decide if you would like a further date, say yes to make a new friend or no to move on to the next date. You will have a date card provided to help you make a few notes to help you decide who to date again and you hand this into the hostess at the end of the evening. . Your results are calculated the next day and sent to you via email so you can make contact with your new love interest straight away.
It couldn't be any simpler and quicker..... 5 minutes could change your life forever! 
Most people come by themselves but feel free to bring a friend for moral support and have a fun-filled, exciting night looking for a new love interest.
Love Speed Dating has a very high success rate of matching people at events so you will be in excellent hands. The average match rate for speed dating events is 85%, however Love Speed Dating regularly achieves a 100% match rate for events.
There will be a 20 minute interval at half time at around 9.00pm so you may top up your drinks at the bar and to mingle before the dating carries on for the second half of the evening.
Meet and mingle in the bar from 7.30pm to 8.00pm, dating starts at 8.00pm and with a break at half time will continue until around 10.00pm. Feel free to stay after the event and chat with the people you have met as the lively bar is open until late with a DJ, cool cocktails and dancing.

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful,its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.

For a smaller town the Art Museum as great. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you are traveling to Birmingham. Make sure to call ahead to see if they are open.

We went to the hotel to drop our luggage, went to a big meal at a Michelin-star restaurant, and then began to get to know the city. First of all, we came to Victoria Square. A building imitating the Greek temple was very eye-catching. This was actually their town hall. A beautiful baroque building next to it was the Birmingham Museum and Art Museum. It was also free to visit, so I went in and strolled around. There were not many people. The exhibits are quite rich, from ancient Egypt to the present artwork, there are exhibitions.

There are Chinese Super League, restaurants, and many other specialty restaurants to choose from. It is not difficult to find what you want to eat here. But this time I chose this restaurant, the food was a bit disappointing.
