Welcome to Spectres Of The Cinema! A large team of more than 30 people have given their time and experience to create this unique event for you. With a stunning array of sound and lighting effects, Spectres of the Cinema is a Halloween production co-written and directed by Lesley Buchan Donald and Tom Langlands. The show combines cinema and live theatre to bring to you the ghosts of fictional characters who could have been associated with Auchterarder Picturehouse’s past. Come and meet the spectres of the cinema and listen to their compelling stories in the spooky, empty auditorium of the former Picturehouse where you will be put centre stage in this truly immersive experience. This is a unique venture purpose-written and produced for the Auchterarder Picturehouse. No allocated seats lie in wait, as the performance eerily unfolds around the space, drawing the audience into its haunted embrace. To fully experience this spooky and immersive journey, arrive at the witching hour—neither a moment too soon nor too late, lest you disturb the restless spirits. Shows start: 18:30 and 20:30 (Strictly no admission for latecomers) Performance approximate 45 mins followed by refreshments and mingling with Cast and Crew (Total 1h 30m) Tickets: Free (Suggested donation of £10 per ticket to the Auchterarder Picturehouse CREW charity) Things to consider before booking tickets The performance is regarded unsuitable for under 16-year-olds.
