Il 23 novembre, Mojo CoHouse e Caravanserai Palermo presentano uno Special Event da non perdere: un doppio concerto che unisce due voci singolari del folk contemporaneo, Jamie Collier (Nuova Zelanda/Berlino) e Kilkelly (Irlanda/Berlino). Due artisti che esplorano i confini tra narrativa e musica, guidandoci attraverso storie oscure, emozionanti e ricche di profondità. Jamie Collier intreccia temi complessi e universali, dalle riflessioni sulla vita e sulla morte fino a immaginazioni vivide e poetiche. La sua musica è radicata nel folk e nell’Americana, caratterizzata da uno stile country blues di grande raffinatezza e da una potente capacità narrativa che ricorda artisti come Gillian Welch e Tom Waits. Con la sua chitarra acustica dal suono antico e pieno, Jamie ci porta in un viaggio musicale di storie e prospettive uniche. Kilkelly, già protagonista di una Moonsession nel 2023, ritorna con il suo stile folk irlandese dal tono oscuro e inconfondibile. Le sue canzoni, venate di liriche macabre e punteggiate da uno stile finger-picking distintivo, si aprono su paesaggi emotivi e narrativi di grande intensità. La voce versatile e l’estensione dinamica rendono ogni sua esibizione un’esperienza unica. La performance sarà preceduta da un momento di accoglienza e convivialità presso la terrazza del Mojo CoHouse, con musica di accompagnamento proposta da DJ Groove Empathy.
