Experience a unique opportunity to explore the creative process of renowned composer Dan Harrison at the SOUND WALK workshop on Sunday, 9th March from 10am to 1pm. Participants will venture around Dwerda Weelardinup (Cantonment Hill), collecting field recordings with their personal devices. Upon returning to CURRENT GALLERY, Dan will demonstrate his editing techniques using the captured material. Remember to bring your smartphone for recording. This workshop coincides with the ongoing exhibition 'an intervening space, especially a very small one,' showcasing collaborative works by visual artist Tessa Beale and composer Daniel Harrison. Opening on Wednesday, 28th February from 6-9pm, the exhibit will run from 28th February to 11th March 2024 at CURRENT GALLERY in Fremantle.
