Der italienisch-deutsche Komponist Apollonio Maiello zeichnet sich durch seine Fähigkeit aus, sich in einem konstanten musikalischen Wandel zu befinden, ohne seine musikalische Identität zu verlieren. Mit seinem breit gefächerten ästhetischen Feingefühl kreiert er Musik, die sowohl neu als auch traditionell verwurzelt klingt. In Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Künstlern ist seine musikalische Vielfalt auf Festivals und in Konzerthäusern der ganzen Welt zu hören; so z.B.: auf dem Felicja Blumenthal Festival in Tel Aviv (Israel), dem Venezia Jazz Festival, im Teatro grande di Brescia (Italien), dem Festival Barocco Alessandro Stradella (Italien), in der Stony Brook University New York (USA), im Muziekgebouw aan’t IJ (Netherlands), im Theaterhaus Stuttgart und auf den Heidelberger Schlossfestspielen. Beauftragt wird er unter anderem vom Radio Filharmonisch Orkest (NL), Zemlinsky Chamber Orchestra (NL), Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra (USA), Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra (USA), Ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi (IT), Sputter Box (USA), Intercontinental Ensemble (NL), Molot Ensemble (RUS), Hear Now Berlin (DE), NEMA Ensemble (IT), Choreograph Stephan Ehrlich (DE) und von Steinway-Artist Alexandra Sostmann (DE), in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bayerischen Rundfunk. 2022 arbeitete er als Arrangeur für die Grammy nominierte Sängerin Becca Stevens. Er ist außerdem Preisträger der ‘’International symphonic composition competition Michal Kleofas Oginski 2020’’, des  Steinway & Sons Jazz-Piano Preis 2016 Stuttgart’’ & des ‘’Nationalen Yamaha Jazzklavier Wettbewerb 2017’’.

The Museum island is impressive, with amazing buildings hosting exhibitions of all kind. I was able to visit the Neues Museum and it was worth the visit, even walking in the morning, afternoon or night is a great experience. a lot of history!!

Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom) is a famous Protestant church in Berlin, the capital of Germany. It is located on the Museum Island in the center of the city, next to the Spree River. This magnificent church is not only the religious center of Berlin, but also an important landmark and tourist attraction of the city.
⛪️The history of Berlin Cathedral dates back to the 15th century, when there was a smaller church on the same site. The existing cathedral was built from 1894 to 1905 under the order of German Emperor Wilhelm II to serve as the court church of the Hohenzollern family. The original church was demolished at the end of the 19th century to make way for a new and more magnificent church.
⛪️Berlin Cathedral adopts Renaissance and Baroque styles and was designed by architect Julius Raschdorff. Its gorgeous appearance and exquisite interior decoration reflect the characteristics of neo-Baroque architecture. The church is 98 meters high, and its green dome is an important part of the Berlin skyline.
⛪️During World War II, the Berlin Cathedral was severely damaged, especially an air raid in 1944 that caused part of the church&#39;s dome to collapse. After the war, the restoration of the church lasted for decades and was finally completed in 1993.
⛪️The interior of the church is richly decorated with many exquisite sculptures, paintings and mosaics. The altarpiece and the pulpit on the central altar are particularly eye-catching.
⛪️The Berlin Cathedral has an organ built by Wilhelm Sauer, which is one of the largest and most important historical organs in the world.
Visitors can climb 270 steps to the observation deck on the church&#39;s dome, from which they can overlook the magnificent view of the center of Berlin.

Every December 31, the open-air New Year&#39;s Eve party is held, and the square and the streets are crowded with people, and the stage is set up to hold a grand live performance to cheer, and people welcome the New Year together during the fireworks tour at midnight.
