Join the Social Run - Newby Bridge, a monthly event held on the 25th of each month. On January 25th, 2024, the run will take place at the High Dam Loop, starting at 6:45pm. Participants are requested to gather at The Swan Hotel & Spa at 6:30pm. The run covers a distance of 4-6 miles, predominantly on trails. Routes will be shared via email prior to the event, so please check your junk folder. Although the run is mainly off-road, meeting locations have been chosen to facilitate public transport access. The X6 bus from Ulverston & Kendal arrives in time for the start. All levels of runners are welcome, and regular stops will be made to regroup. It is advisable to bring a head torch, trail shoes, and waterproofs. Please note that this is a volunteer-led event, and the community, organizers, and hosts accept no responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or losses related to the run or travel to the event. By registering for the Social Run - Newby Bridge, you indicate your acceptance of these conditions. Remember, the event is free of charge.
