This exclusive event will take place at 6pm on Thursday, September 7 in Raleigh. With a distinguished career spanning three decades, Kenseth Armstead has consistently produced thought-provoking conceptual art. His work has been featured in groundbreaking exhibitions that delve into various aspects of history, American culture, ethnicity, and defining moments for institutions. Noteworthy showcases which have included Armstead's art include the Whitney Museum of American Art's "Black Male: Representations of Masculinity in Contemporary Art," Central Park's "It's Happening! Celebrating 50 Years of Public Art in NYC Parks," the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum's "Frames of Reference: Reflections on Media," and the MIT List Visual Arts Center's "Race in Digital Space," among others.
