The Sloth Runners Club AUSTIN/ROUNDROCK is having a fun run event in Austin's Richard Moya Park on August 31, 2024. You can join in for a 5K, 10K, or even a half-marathon. If you can't make it in person, there's also a virtual run you can do. It's open to everyone, no matter how fast you are, and they're keeping the groups small, between 15-20 runners, so it feels more special. When you run, you'll get a goodie bag with a T-shirt, a towel or another freebie, and a medal when you finish. If you really love running, you can sign up for their year-round club and get cool running gear and hang out with other runners every few months. The cost to join the race starts at $35 and goes up to $99, and there are different packages and ways to support the event. As a regular tourist thought the process of entering the Parliament House was very cumbersome, but I didn&#39;t expect to check the bag I took with me to visit. Built in 1885, the building covers 51 acres and was designed by architects modeled on the Capitol in Washington, DC, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986. Amazing the passing of the world does not affect its appearance and internal structure, as always brand new, visitors can visit the government office, have time to visit around the building outside, from all angles to enjoy the century-old building.
