This day-long workshop will guide you through the process of measuring, constructing, covering, and decorating a traditional slipcase for a book of your choice. Please note that the book should be smaller than A4 297mmx210mm, ensuring it fits perfectly. If you don't have a suitable book, we can provide one for you. 

A slipcase offers superior protection to your book, safeguarding it from damage while allowing easy access. Compared to Clamshell boxes, slipcases are more time-efficient, cost-effective, and easier to make. In addition, we will also teach you how to create a phase container using a single sheet of paper. This card case is a budget-friendly solution to protect your books or prints.

During the workshop, you will be provided with coffee, tea, and biscuits. If you prefer to bring your own packed lunch, our kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, cutlery, and storage facilities.
