Skate the Town: Dec 10 is a thrilling event taking place on December 10, 2023, in Oakland, California. Located at the newly-reopened Henry J. Kaiser Center for Arts on 10 10th Street, this pop-up indoor roller rink is set to transport attendees through time as they roll and dance to the rhythm of the music.

The event kicks off with an open skate for all ages from 2:30 to 5:00 pm, offering a free Rollerdance workshop with Richard Humphrey in the Rollerdance Workshop Rink. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced skater, this is the perfect opportunity to learn new moves, improve your skills, and connect with fellow skating enthusiasts.

As the sun sets, the energy ramps up with an open skate for ages 18 and up from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Get ready to lace up your skates and hit the floor as you dance, glide, and groove to the beats spun by talented DJs.

Tickets for this exciting event are priced at $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Remember to bring your own skates or purchase a pair from Quad Republic. Please note that a photo ID is required for entry.

Organized by Roller Dance, led by local skate legend Richard Humphrey, and hosted at the historic Henry J. Kaiser Center for Arts, this event promises a memorable experience for all attendees.
