Backwards Skating & Transitions Masterclass (roller skating)Do you already know the basics of backwards skating and transitions but want to take your technique further? Join us for a 1 hour and 30 minute beginner to intermediate roller skating masterclass taught by Kelly, Founder of Skate Base London. Kelly is a pro at breaking down complex roller skating techniques and is known for her fun and energetic teaching style! What you can expect to learn:Multiple ways to skate backwards including bubbles/lemons, crossovers, cross steps, shuffles and more!Backwards to forwards transitions (and vice versa)How to distribute your weight effectively to get the most out of your edges and transitionsHow to improve your technique, stops and general flow when skating backwardsSpaces are limited so don't hesitate to grab your ticket! Please note: this class is not suitable for those completely new to backwards skating. Attendees must be able to skate backwards for at least 5 metres. Social Skate (roller skating and inline skating)We're finally back with our Social Skates! If you're looking for a laid-back environment to practise roller skating or inline skating, you've come to the right place! Our 1 hour and 30 minute session will be a great place for you to work on your skating skills, and maybe even pick up new ones from the talented skaters around you! Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced, our self-led sessions will provide you with a fun, inclusive and judgement-free space to skate. We'll be bringing you great vibes with music from RnB, to Afrobeats, to Hip Hop and more! Important informationThis is strictly an 18+ eventThe Masterclass is for beginner to intermediate roller skatersThe Social Skate is for roller skaters and inline skaters of all levelsThis is a ticketed event. Please purchase a ticket in advance as they will not be available at the doorThere will be no skate hire available. Please bring your own skates fit with either indoor wheels, or wheels suitable for both indoor and outdoor skatingEnsure your roller skates have toe stops or jam plugsOnly water is allowed at this venue. I went on this tour the morning after a fantastic evening watching Tottenham win 5-0 in the Champions League. I was in awe when I first entered the stadium. I have to say that feeling came back on the tour. The road trip was all about the West and included everything Tottenham. Jack, Lupe and Mel did a great job showing us the players&#39; backroom area, referees and media area
