Manting Royal Garden, also called &quot;Chun Huan&quot; by the Dai people, is located in Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, in the triangle where the Lancang River and the Liusha River meet.
With a history of more than 1,300 years, it is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna and the royal garden of the Dai King, with a profound historical and cultural heritage. The park embodies the three major themes of &quot;Dai royal culture, Buddhist culture, and Dai folk culture&quot;. There are more than 500 well-preserved ancient ironwood forests and vegetation in the park, as well as hills and rivers, and cultural landscapes with strong ethnic characteristics. &quot;Chun Huan&quot;, meaning &quot;Garden of the Soul&quot;, is known as the &quot;Garden of the Soul&quot; in Xishuangbanna.
