The Stone Forest was absolutely surreal &mdash; like walking through nature&rsquo;s own sculpture park. These towering limestone formations rise dramatically from the ground, some looking like animals, gates, or pagodas. My favorite was one that looked like a giant stone cat sitting on guard &mdash; it totally caught us off guard and made us smile.We wandered through the maze-like paths, soaking in the sheer scale and quiet power of the place. It&rsquo;s one of Kunming&rsquo;s must-see attractions, and the landscape is unlike anything I&rsquo;ve seen before.💡 Tip: Wear comfortable shoes and take water. The site is huge! For extra fun, try guessing the rock shapes before reading the signs.
