Join SheJumps and Alpine Ascents International for the SheJumps x AAI Intro to Backcountry Touring Course at Snoqualmie Pass in Snoqualmie, WA. This two-day course, offered in partnership between SheJumps and Alpine Ascents, is designed to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to safely navigate the backcountry while maximizing the fun factor.

Led by AAI's world-class guide staff and local experts, this course will cover a range of topics including efficient uphill skinning, tour planning, avalanche hazard assessment, and backcountry skiing techniques. With a low guide-to-student ratio, participants will have ample time to practice and apply these skills in a hands-on setting.

The course will also focus on the importance of backcountry safety and self-care, teaching participants how to stay warm and dry in challenging winter conditions. By the end of the course, participants will have the confidence and expertise needed to plan and execute their own backcountry adventures.

Please note that registration for this course must be completed through the Alpine Ascents website. The course fee is $600 and does not include guide gratuities, which are highly recommended at 10-15% of the course cost. All participants are required to sign the SheJumps Participant Waiver prior to attending the event.
