Join local artist Gabriela Wilson at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery in Waterloo for the Sgraffito Glass Bird Workshop. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create stunning glass fusion birds using traditional sgraffito techniques. Work alongside Gabriela Wilson as she guides you through the process of decorating a pre-cut glass bird shape using kiln-fired enamel paint. By scratching patterns through the paint, you will reveal the vibrant colors of the glass underneath.

After the workshop, your artwork will be fired in the kiln and will be available for pick up at the gallery approximately 3 weeks later. Each piece will be fused with a transparent glass and a metal hook will be placed between the layers, allowing you to display your bird in a window or hang it as an ornament.
