This event, celebrating Caribbean culture, is one of the region's most representative summer multicultural festivals. The 2026 event is expected to continue the format of previous years, typically held in the summer. The event showcases the cultural traditions of the Caribbean region and Caribbean communities through music, dance, food, costumes, and parades. Key activities include: Caribbean Carnival Parade: Participants, dressed in brightly colored carnival costumes adorned with feathers and sequins, parade through the streets accompanied by drumming and music ensembles. Live Music and Dance Performances: Featuring reggae, soca, calypso, steel drum performances, and Caribbean-style dances. Caribbean Food Stalls: Sample Jamaican roasted chicken, Caribbean curry, fried bananas, Caribbean desserts, and specialty drinks. Cultural Showcases and Community Activities: Including handicrafts, art exhibitions, cultural experiences, and family activities. Costume & Beauty Pageant/Carnival Showcase: Some events will include carnival costume showcases, band performances, and related judging activities.
