McMaster Forest is home to an incredible and rare type of ecosystem - the 
tallgrass prairie
! Less than 1% of tallgrass prairie is left in Ontario, so it's incredibly important to preserve and protect this space.

Riverbank Rye
Canada Rye
Bluestem
Switchgrass
Savannah Grass
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, October 29th
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Location: Meet at the McMaster Forest (1105 Lower Lions Club Road)
Bring/Wear:
Reusable shopping bag to hold grass seed!
Comfortable, closed-toe, durable shoes (mud proof if you have any)
Long pants and long socks (so that you can tuck your pants into your socks, keeping ticks off of your skin!)
Ensure you wear clothing and shoes that you will not mind getting dirty
Water bottles
Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
Bug spray
