Age: 18+ Day: Saturday May 10, 2025 Time: 1 - 4 PM Cost: M $65 and NM $70 Instructor: Alli Dawe Enjoy a fun afternoon in the Clay Studio with friends and family as we teach you how to build structural forms out of clay using beginner-friendly handbuilding techniques. Inspired by our popular Friday Night Clay Dates, this new weekend workshop series will show you how to make a functional object to personalize your home and garden. Saturday May 10 – Birdhouse: Provide a small home for our feathered friends with a simple yet classic birdhouse design that can be personalized with a variety of surface finishes to suit your space.  About the Instructor: Alli Dawe graduated from OCAD University in 2023. Here she learned how to start her own pottery business, selling her work online and at art shows across southern Ontario. She has been working at the Art Gallery of Burlington for the past year, teaching both handbuilding and wheel throwing to learners of all ages. Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership. ATTIRE: Please dress in clothing that reflects the nature of the activity. Your clothing may get messy from the materials and media utilized in your class. Also, closed-toe shoes are mandatory. ALLERGIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS?
