Experience the excitement of the Run PHOENIX "Valley of the Sun" 5K/10K/13.1 FALL event held in Phoenix at G.R. Herberger Park. Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon run, with a limited capacity of 15-20 runners per wave to ensure an intimate experience. The event offers a stress-free environment for all ages and paces, whether you prefer running or walking. No timing chips are used, but coordinators are available to assist with tracking your time using bib numbers provided on race day.

Register early to take advantage of the discounted early bird pricing, with ticket prices ranging from US$37 to US$45. Participants will receive a race packet including a Running T-Shirt, Finisher's Towel or Giveaway, and a Finisher's Medal. Optional upgrades include Technical Running Shirts for an additional $5 and access to the RUNNA Coaching Program with a free trial using the code: BESTRACES.

For those unable to attend the event in person, a Virtual Run option is available, allowing runners to complete the race at their convenience and receive a medal upon submission of their results. Additionally, participants can sign up for multiple races and receive a discount, with shirts for each race shipped together. Completing three runs qualifies you for a Custom Runner's Trophy.

It was a really big park. I went from the southern end along the canal trail to the north end and stopped at the rocky cave, which took about an hour. It was a great place to relax, exercise and picnic. I loved the change between the green spaces around the lake and the arid areas filled with cactus. And was stunned by the bird life around. It is really hot so apply sunscreen and bring enough water.

The trees are beautiful and unusual. The cactus is very big and taller than many people. You must come and visit. It is beautiful and has a desert-style atmosphere.

Phoenix Zoo is located in Tempe Arizona and it is by far one of the best zoos I have been to. There are many attractions to the zoo like the wildlife. Phoenix Zoo has places like sea life walk where you can go see the sea life. The have a trail called Desert trail where you can see all the desert animals. they also have an area where you can see all the flowers in Arizona. they have a kid&#39;s land for just the kids they have a water park for the kids the animals that you see are mainly ones that you would see in a safari because it is a desert. Arizona You Don&#39;t See Much of like polar bears. it&#39;s a great little Zoo it&#39;s not too big not too little and I highly suggest if you&#39;re going to go to the Phoenix Zoo do not go in the summer I would plan to come in the winter where is more nice not so hot and you&#39;ll see a lot more animals than if you were to come in the summer it is 120&deg; here in Arizona during the summer and in the winter it gets up to about 70&deg; during the day so be a perfect time to come in the Winter.

You can see the sunrise and sunset of Phoenix here
I went there twice this year
I arrived at around 8am in March to see the blue sky and wild flowers
I arrived at around 5am in June to see many tourists waiting for the sunrise
This place is right next to the zoo and the Desert Botanical Garden
Free attractions
Travel route
Bring breakfast and watch the sunrise and have breakfast at the Cave in the Stone
Then go to the Desert Botanical Garden at around 8am to see all kinds of desert plants and animals
At noon, have a good meal at the restaurant in the botanical garden
If you like, go to the zoo in the afternoon (but I don&#39;t like it)
