Lusheng Horse Fighting is a traditional cultural and sports activity of ethnic minorities in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County. Since 2000, Rongshui has held the Lusheng Horse Fighting Festival every year, and its influence has been increasing. In 2012, the festival was named "China's Most Characteristic Ethnic Festival". The "Lusheng Horse Fighting Festival" is also the main activity of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage "Rongshui Miao Series Pohui Group". The China Federation of Literary and Art Circles awarded Rongshui the title of "China's Lusheng Horse Fighting Culture Hometown".
