We can't stop you dancing. We are back by popular demand for our 4th Year 2025!!Join us, weather permitting, at sunset for sundowners and dancing into the night! A joyful  Walk in-Dance Out  community event held under the giant London Plane tress by the river outside Tide Tables Cafe, nestled cosily under the Richmond Bridge. Dance Al Fresco is part of Soulhub's vision of  Bridging Worlds  that encourages healthier, happier and safer communities. Whether you're just watching or taking part as an absolute beginner or avid social dancer, you can enjoy the tasty delights of the cafe as well as the joyful delights of dance. It's a perfect event for the whole family, including your dog, to enjoy a mix of social Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango dancing with expert tuition from local BBC Strictly Come Dancing professional Andrew Cuerden You're welcome to just sit and watch the dancing or you can donate and take part. Classes are great fun for all levels, but aimed primarily at beginners. Events are once a month during the summer from Apr-Aug and then we also love to create a festive event in December or on 1 January. Summer start times are variable due to sunset times but generally events starts one hour before sunset. We suggest approximately £10 per adult and £5 per under 18s. This is to cover the essentials such as Licences, DJ, Lights and staffing.We are looking for partners and brands that would like to support this community event, so if you're looking to be alturistic or know of a local or national brand that would love the association, please do email carmen@soulhub.co.uk. What to wear? This event is very informal so wear whatever you are comfortable in. We suggest wearing layers so you can easily regulate your body temperature. The dance floor is bare earth so be mindful it can either be dusty or a little muddy. Hence please wear normal outdoor shoes that are light and comfortable and you don't mind getting a little dirty. However please feel free to dress up however you like. Do I need a partner? No. You can come on your own or with a partner. There is a mix of solo and partner dancing available. Getting to Tide Tables: Tide Tables Cafe is approximately 10min walk from Richmond Station.
