Rhythm & Motion ESSENTIALS with Rena Marie Guidry is an original and invigorating dance class that is perfect for both new and experienced students. This high-energy class format, known as R&M Fusion, blends popular and global music and dance styles to create a fun and engaging workout. The choreography is inspired by various music genres from around the world, including Latin, hip hop, African, alternative, and R&B. Led by Rena Marie Guidry, a seasoned actor, dancer, and choreographer with over 30 years of experience, this class incorporates a dynamic mix of movement and music styles while staying true to the fundamentals of dance. Rena Marie has not only performed in self-produced dance theater productions and commercials, but she has also been a guest performer for several Latin dance companies. In addition to her work in the studio, Rena Marie brings her love of dance to people outside of the studio by leading retreats locally and globally. With her training as a Drama Therapist and a Masters degree in counseling psychology, Rena Marie believes in the therapeutic benefits of the arts and their ability to promote healing and wellness.
