Reading Water - workshop on Friday 13th June, 1-4pm. Date: Fri Jun 06 2025 Time: 13:00 - 16:00 Location: Digital Arts Studios This workshop led by Aiden Brady will consist of a presentation of art practices which connect to ecological issues, followed by a discussion of how these art practices could be used by communities to encourage learning, understanding, and change. This workshop hopes to bring together creative practitioners & technologists and practical-minded environmental activists to contemplate how their working interests might overlap. Beyond that, it aims to finish the session with clear ideas and prospects for collaboration on projects which might directly assist affected NI communities who are opposing climate breakdown. This event is part of What can you see, from over the brow? an installation by Aiden Brady, to be exhibited at DAS in partnership with Belfast Photo Festival 2025. Aiden Brady is a new media artist and writer working across sound, video and installation. His work often deals with place, identity and the self. In 2023, Aiden displayed work at Spacecraft Studios and Shannon Rowing Club in Limerick City and in 2024 participated in PS2 Belfast's 'Ideal Development Opportunity'. He is currently a resident on Dublin Digital Radio, hosting 'One Less Colour'. In January 2024, he graduated UL's Art & Technology MA programme. This attraction is really immersive and fun whilst being informative. Diving into the history of how the titanic right from the beginning the experience really gives you a clear idea on how people lived and worked back then. This tour is perfect for any age group and is a great way to spend a few outs of your day.

We were led by a big-bellied man, who took the middle staircase to the second floor. He asked us to introduce ourselves at the circular handrail in the middle. We were from all over the country, and most of us were foreigners. Then he led us to the parliament hall, which is where the parliamentarians usually hold meetings. There was a microphone at each seat. He then began to talk about the origin and function of this building, and spoke with great vigor. Everyone could sit anywhere, even the speaker&#39;s seat. After the introduction, he led us to visit other halls. The huge banquet hall was covered with thick and beautiful red carpet. I can&#39;t remember which hall was covered with blue carpet.

The Peace Bridge is a beautiful landscape in Belfast. It represents a very sad history and also represents the hope of the people of Northern Ireland. The walls are covered with various graffiti works, most of which are paintings expressing peace in Northern Ireland. Some of the graffiti works are very moving and worth appreciating.
