Welcome to the RDR Risk Skills field trip!
RDR have partnered with Remote Area Risk International (R2RI) to deliver training for future Humanitarians. During this week, you will have the opportunity to enhance your outdoor and remote area risk skills through various activities and certified training courses.  You will learn key skills and gain qualifications in outdoor first aid and off-site safety management, and take part in tailored scenario-based risk training.
Whether you're planning a career with a NGO, government department, research, or in the private sector, this course is aimed at those planning to work in a field that involves international deployment within the humanitarian context.
Come prepared with comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes, and a note pad. R2RI's experienced instructors will guide you through the day, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

The training will take place at Plas y Brenin - National Outdoor Centre in the beautiful Eryri National Park in Wales on the following dates:
MSc cohort- 
02/06/25 -7/06/25
BSc (3rd yr) cohort - 
09/06/25- 14/06/25
(Return travel from london and accommodation in Bangor is included in the trip.)
