The atmosphere will be enhanced by a curated ambient playlist, featuring a new female artist each month, played on a custom VOID sound system. Art Walk: After yoga, explore the themes of renewal and resilience in Cape Phoenix - A Resurrection Story with a guided Art Walk by Quantum Oddity Gallery co-founder, Dominik Grunert. Engage: Connect with the art through movement, mindfulness, and presence, interpreting Cassidy's works on a personal level.Discover: Learn about the artist’s vision and how the symbolism of the King Protea reflects cycles of destruction and rebirth, both in nature and humanity.About the ExhibitionCape Phoenix - A Resurrection Story by Jade Cassidy explores the themes of renewal, resilience, and transformation through the metaphor of South Africa's national flower, the King Protea. The exhibition features: Oil Paintings: Depicting the King Protea in dramatic hues of red, brown, and black, reflecting the interplay of fire, ash, and regeneration. Inspired by chiaroscuro techniques, these works evoke powerful emotional narratives of destruction and revival.Sculptures: Organic, flower-like forms with dark, glossy glazes and bursts of deep red.
