Curated by MACBA director Elvira Dyangani Ose, along with Antawan Byrd, Adom Getachew and Matthew S. Witkovsky, Project a Black Planet: The Art and Culture of Panafrica is the first major international exhibition to examine the cultural manifestations of Pan-Africanism from the 1920s to the present.
It is a project developed jointly with the Art Institute of Chicago, the Barbican Centre in London and the KANAL–Centre Pompidou in Brussels. This collaboration has made the magnitude of the exhibition possible, with nearly 350 pieces by 100 artists touring the four institutions until spring 2027.

Tickets were issued quickly. A bit cheaper than at the venue or on the official website. Although there were time slots and quite a few people inside, it wasn&#39;t too crowded. The building is quite unique and well worth a visit.

La Pedrera – Casa Milà

The black iron railing patterns and the top floor of the facade are the highlights. Compared with Casa Mil&agrave; and Sagrada Familia, Casa Mil&agrave; is a bit plain. It is best to visit Mil&agrave; first among the three treasures of Gaud&iacute;, then Casa Mil&agrave;, and Sagrada Familia. You will feel that the experience is getting more and more exciting and shocking.

The entrance is small, in the city center. Be sure to get the audio guide first. Each painting has a story. I spent three hours looking at it carefully! You can walk to Casa Mil&agrave; and see the scenery of Barcelona along the way! It&#39;s a great time!

The building was designed by Richard Meyer, an American architect. The Gallery mainly collects works of art in the late 20th century. The exhibits are replaced roughly every three to four months.
