Join the exclusive Private Viewing and Launch Celebration at Beckford's Tower in Bath on June 21, 2024. After 18 months of detailed restoration, Beckford’s Tower and Museum will reopen to the public on June 29, 2024. Explore the Museum and Landscape, including the newly revealed Grotto, while being mindful of the subjects covered such as abuse, enslavement, and exploitation. The event will feature a marquee in the paddocks with seating and a buffet, along with a 30-minute talk and slideshow every hour. Due to Tower capacity, guests must choose either a morning slot (from 10 am) or an afternoon slot (from 12:30 pm) for access, with all attendees gathering for speeches from 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Visitors will be allocated a time to tour the Tower, view the renovated Museum rooms, the new rooftop walkway, and the Belvedere level. Remember to dress smart-casual and wear suitable footwear for walking on grass. Limited on-site parking is available; it is recommended to use the Park and Ride at Lansdown or take regular buses from Bath bus station. A photographer will be present to capture moments unless specified otherwise upon arrival. Kindly RSVP by June 15, 2024.

The night I arrived in Bath the day before, I finally had a good sleep. The jet lag effect was basically zero, and I woke up feeling refreshed. I bought the next day&#39;s early show ticket on Ctrip one day in advance, &yen;280/ticket.
After breakfast, I walked a few minutes to the famous attraction in the city center - the Roman Baths. There were not many people in the morning. I received the headset and put it on, and slowly visited it following the introduction of the headset. The bathhouse is divided into two floors. The bathing pool on the lower floor is connected to the underground hot spring. The pool is green and clear, and warm spring water still gushes out. It is hard to imagine that it has remained in this state for more than 10,000 years.

The most famous attraction in Bath is also one of the most magnificent Georgian buildings in the UK. Looking at the Crescent Building outside is 30 connected houses, looking down from the mountains in the distance like a new moon, and echoing the circus not far away that means the sun. There is a lawn for tourists and local residents to rest and play. House No. 1 is a museum (not interesting to go), there are two houses in the middle that have been transformed into hotels (huge expensive), and the rest are private property. It&#39;s beautiful when it&#39;s sunny.
