In this workshop, join poet and printmaker Becca Drake in making your own January book to take away and cherish throughout the winter months. A January book is a book for the new year. It is a small and thoughtful thing, a pocket-sized book object, and a little touchstone of quiet. At the beginning of the workshop, you will choose from one of two themes: darkness, and light. You will get to print your chosen theme on the front of your blank book, using an Adana tabletop press. For the rest of the workshop, you will fill your book with darkness or light, using a mixture of writing by hand, relief print, and collage. Becca will guide you with experimental poetry exercises, fresh from the press! No poetry experience is needed. This is a hands-on workshop – expect ink, mess, and fun. Becca Drake is a poet, researcher, and editor at House Martin Press. Her debut pamphlet Unstill Landscapes is published with the award-winning Guillemot Press. Her poems have appeared in Propel magazine, Reliquiae, Black Bough, and Fly on the Wall, among others. As well as writing poetry, Becca prints poetry books using traditional craft methods of letterpress printing and bookbinding.

My first time visiting this tower ,all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful .We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful piece of history and we adore york. Was so happy to know it is english heritage so everytime we go somewhere we try and make use out of our membership.Was a wonderful structure been made for the stairs nice and strong. We enjoyed the roof top being able to have a clear 360 view was magnificent well worth all the climbing up both stairs .

There are rumors that Wimbledon Street is good to see, but when I actually went there, it was nice because there were many shops to see! I heard that the ghost shop is famous, but there was a long line in front of me, so I couldn&#39;t go in.

It takes about five minutes to walk from York Station to platform 11, cross the overpass, and there is a sign, which is easy to see. There were not many people, so I went in without an appointment. There were many local elderly people and children, but they watched quietly.
The history of trains is clear at a glance, and I learned a lot. Half of the confidence of European railways comes from Britain. The trains and train technology more than 150 years ago are really admirable.
