Whether you're wanting to take your pottery to the next level or having a go at throwing on the potters' wheel for the first time our evening class is for you. Pottery Wheel throwing will cover all the basics of working on the potters' wheel. During the six sessions we will cover all the basics of pottery technique - clay preparation, bowl and cylindrical throwing, turning, handling and decoration. Mondays pottery wheel throwing class is lead by Hamish Symonds and is aimed at all skill levels. Wednesday evening will be taught by Jack Welbourne and is aiamed at improvers. Our aims is that students are offered the widest range of support and experience they can be during there time at the studio. The class is taught in a buff stoneware clay mixed by jack in the studio from 3 Devon and Dorset ball clays. Students will have the option to keep a selection of the work produced on the course at a cost of £5 per 10cm cubed. Students will get to choose from a selection of stoneware glazes for their selected items which will then be reduction fired in Jack 45 cubic foot reduction kiln.

An amazing castle and visiting the grounds was a treat. Full of history and going through the surroundings, it wasn&#39;t repetitive and not boring at all. I absolutely loved it and it&#39;s was very interesting. I love the Arab Room and the war shelters.Reasonable priced tickets compared to the Royal castle prices.I highly recommend this visit for all ages.The staff were friendly and helpful.I love Cardiff. It&#39;s so refreshing compared to London.

Pleasant enough way to spend a couple of hours. Went primarily to see the paintings but (and of course this is entirely a matter of personal taste) there wasnt a lot to rock my boat and not a lot of range. Some of the pottery was quite interesting but could have been better displayed. The natural history section on the ground floor was rather more interesting than expected- not too &quot;dry&quot;

Cardiff Bay is very easy to go.  It is very closed to Cardiff Central Station.  You can take the bus or walk 30 mins from central station.  It is free to visit, of course, and the scenary there is fantastic.  You can spend a few hours there, no doubt.  Take lots of pictures there.  There are a lot of shops and restaurant and coffee shop there.  So once you are tired, you can grab a coffee there, by sitting next to the seashore, enjoying the coffee and the sea at the same time.  Different kinds of pubs and restaurant there, from high class to family restaurant.  There are also a few historical buildings there, and there is a modern exhibition center there.  The design of its outlook is so high tech, you definitely will fall in love with it.
