Following the success of this year’s open-access peer-to-peer roundtables during our recent Summit, Photoworks is excited to announce the next round of conversations. These roundtables provided a valuable platform for practitioners and producers to come together, listen, and engage in meaningful conversations about the most pressing challenges facing our industry. We received fantastic feedback, with participants highlighting the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, seek advice, and explore solutions to the urgent issues they face. The sessions are designed for you and led by you, so we are seeking your input on discussion topics. Last year, we delved into subjects such as the role of art, survival strategies, funding, project development, publishing, exhibition-making, and collective practice. This year, we’re also introducing a new group discussion, where all participants will come together to share their insights. In advance of the event, we invite you to share 1-3 urgent issues facing artists, photographers, creatives and cultural workers today, which we’ll use as a starting point for this and future roundtables and open discussions. Perhaps the plan is to move to Gatwick Airport where the divide between North and South galleries might be easily replicated in the North and South Terminals. In the South gallery are currently situated two wooden tents in which films by one Kannan Arunasalam are showing events of exquisite funkiness involving disappearing Tamil terrorists or freedom fighters or Brexiteers depending on one&rsquo;s viewpoint in 2009. In the North the windows have colourful glazed tiles courtesy of one Fiona Grady whilst lectures on stained glass windows or stained glass Tamils continue regardless

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

One of the best piers in the South of England. There is lots to do with tons of seaside rides, fun arcade games and food. Highly recommend catching the sunset here and if you&rsquo;re lucky you might catch the starlings dancing at dusk, I didn&rsquo;t know they do this and it was the most spectacular striking and stunning natural phenomenon I had seen, it was mesmerising. Highest chances of seeing the starlings dance is between November-March, we visited in early March
