Join the Theatre & Photography Workshop in London on February 8th for an immersive experience in Participatory Photography and Theatre for Communities. This two-day workshop aims to explore creative tools for community work, promoting participation, inclusion, and dialogue. Through the use of visual and embodied languages, participants will have the opportunity to share their lived stories and collaborate in the co-creation of new narratives. The workshop will incorporate various techniques such as PhotoVoice, Image Theatre, Playback Theatre, Forum Theatre, Embodied and Visual Storytelling. It is open to facilitators, therapists, educators, community workers, theatre makers, photographers, and anyone interested in participating in this unique combination of Participatory Photography and Theatre. No previous experience in theatre or photography is required. The workshop will be held at The Cockpit, Studio 1, Gateforth Street, NW8 8EH, London. The registration fee is £50 if you sign up by January 21st, 2024. After this date, the fee will be £65. Limited spaces are available, so it is recommended to register early. The workshop will be conducted by Francesco Argenio Benaroio, a seasoned participatory theatre practitioner and photographer with extensive experience in community work.
