Peter Boal, raised in Bedford, New York, began studying ballet at the School of American Ballet at the age of nine. He went on to become a member of the New York City Ballet's corps de ballet and later a principal dancer. After a successful 22-year career with the company, Peter founded the critically acclaimed chamber ensemble, Peter Boal and Company. Currently, he serves as the Artistic Director of the Pacific Northwest Ballet.
