The discussion will highlight the unspoken expectations placed on creatives and the skills they need to succeed beyond their artistic abilities. Attendees will learn how to uncover hidden beliefs, cultivate self-compassion and resilience, and find the tools for mental wellness in a creative field. The panelists include Silen Wellington, a sculptor of sound and storyteller, Jason Shafer, Principal Clarinetist of the Colorado Symphony, Jeremy D. Cuebas, conductor and coach, and Mary Grace Bernard, a transmedia and performance artist. The discussion will be moderated by Sarah Whitnah, a Denver violinist, and Teague McDaniel, Founder and Curator at Creative Integration Initiative.
