Join us at the lake for an evening of SUP instruction, with instructors certified by 
Paddle Canada
, a not-for-profit organization promoting safe and skilled paddling since 1971.
Level 1 – Flat Water SUP (Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6:00–8:30 PM)
Perfect for beginners, this course introduces the essentials of SUP in calm, sheltered water. Learn core safety skills (like falling safely, remounting the board, and weather awareness) and paddling techniques (such as forward strokes, sweep strokes, prone paddling, and more). Discover the fundamentals of board design, outfitting, safety gear, and injury prevention.
All participants will receive a Paddle Canada certification upon successful completion.

No refunds for weather cancellations.
In the event of  weather cancellations on an originally scheduled date, re-scheduling will be attempted but is subject to the contraints of the LBHA and instructor availability. Please note, subsequent dates cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to re-schedule the following week. Only one re-scheduling attempt will be made.
* This course will be cancelled or suspended in the event of sustained winds exceeding 20km/hr or thunderstorms in the vicinity.
Participants may request refunds up to one one week prior to the course start date (excluding Eventbrite fees).
Equipment:
Participants must bring their own SUP, paddle, leash, and life jacket. Rental gear is available for $50 (not included in ticket sale price, charged separately). Wetsuits are recommended but not provided.

The Park has an assortment ofactivities, rides, food, civic museums, and heritage architecture emphasizing the cultural significance of early Prairie settlement/life.It&#39;s like taking a step back in time, and it&#39;s worthevery dollar. 11/10 do recommend.

Calgary is a very beautiful city. This is a city park. Prince Island Park has rich natural scenery. The park is full of various green and delicious plants and flowers. It is quite comfortable in the evening. The whole area is also very good.

Peace Bridge

It looks like a tunnel bridge, and it is also a transportation hub for passing through the other side of the river. The color of this bridge is very eye-catching, with red intersecting structures. Vehicles cannot pass through, but people and bicycles can pass freely. There are lights at night, and Fengjia feels magnificent.

it&#39;s a nice place to visit not only for kids but for adults who love animals as well. i went here alone, and it was nice to have a walk and see the animals at the same time. sadly,the pandas are gone, but i got to see them before they&#39;re gone.
