Held at the prestigious University of Akron, the Outlined in Black Art exhibition embraces and celebrates the diverse and vibrant voices of the Black community through a myriad of artistic expressions. With its powerful narratives and innovative techniques, this year's collection promises to inspire, challenge, and engage viewers. Following the reception, the exhibition will be open on campus until November 18th, giving visitors ample time to appreciate and immerse themselves in the captivating artwork. The Akron Black Artist Guild (ABAG) is a network of Black artists dedicated to establishing a thriving community that fosters educational and professional development by connecting Black Artists to valuable opportunities and resources.
